twenty-something hosts are sent to explore the same country. Host
One gets the platinum card and sent in search of the ultimate luxury
experience. Host Two is given a hostel card and $100, and told to
survive! Comedy will arise from intercutting their wildly different
experiences, and audiences will be exposed to two very different
views of the same place. Occasionally, the Hosts’ paths will
cross to hilarious effect. For the season finale, the hosts will
switch places, and we’ll get to see how Host One, accustomed
to the lap of luxury, copes with poverty, and watch as Host Two
enjoys a well-deserved break. By showing two extremely different
views of a city, High Road/Low Road is more than
just a travel show, it’s a chronicle of how people live at
both ends of the scale.
